Researchers have proved the superiority of Atkins diet
The research of four popular diets lead to the USA, has shown, that the women avoiding in the diet products with the high maintenance of carbohydrates (the so-called Atkins diet is based on this principle) loose on less twice more “excess” kilograms than those who chooses other diets.
American scientists quote that many professionals skeptically concerned to expediency low-carbohydrates diets, however, it looks like many people, who are keeping to these diets, find them very effective.
Four diets which were considered within the limits of the preventive research are the Atkins diet, which requires the greatest reduction of number of used carbohydrates; a Zone diet, based on a parity of carbohydrates, fibers and fats to 40:30:30 proportions; LEARN diet, based on reduction of fats and Ornish diet, which is regarded as the strictest one.
More than 300 women, agreed to adhere one of 4 diets, have taken part in the research. All of them within a week visited special trainings and have also received the thematic literature. The state of their health, including the weight, has been supervised for 10 months.
The ladies, who followed Atkins diet, have grown thin for 4, 7 kg on the average. And it was the highest average result among those who managed other diets.
