Playing sports during the pregnancy
Actively training women and professional sportswomen are insistently recommended to reduce the level of training with the approach of pregnancy. The second trimester is the safest period for playing sports; it is necessary to behave more cautiously in the first and the third periods of the pregnancy. Thus pregnant women should be avoided the trainings connected with jumps, jumping up, vibration, oxygen starvation, cooling or overheating, and also fraught with falling, traumas and impacts in a stomach.
Now we shall pass to concrete kinds of sports.
Running In the first trimester it is better to pass to walking, then - racing trainings with the reduced loading can be renewed for some months, but only from the permission of the doctor.
Skis Under condition of decrease in the intensity and from the doctor’s permission it is possible to ski during all pregnancy, but only not in conditions of high mountains because of shortage of oxygen and danger of falling.
Volleyball is categorically forbidden.
Bicycle The greatest danger is represented with probability of falling. That is why this kind of sport is highly dangerous for pregnant women and we insistently recommend abstaining from it during the pregnancy.
Skates It is possible to tell about this kind of sports the same, as about bicycle.
Ridding It is better to refuse from it for all time of pregnancy.
Tennis Pregnant women are allowed to play tennis about 4-5 months in condition of decrease in loadings only from the doctor’s permission.
Parachuting Trainings are excluded during all pregnancy.
Swimming is a good pastime and it is extremely useful during the pregnancy. But before to plunge into the pool or a river, answer a question: whether the water is pure there. Be afraid of the infections transferred by sexual, and also the infections getting in water of the river with the excrements. Choosing a pool, take an interest, whether the water is often cleared, whether the information from the doctor for visiting the pool is required, whether there are many people in the pool, etc. Swimming in the open reservoirs during the pregnancy is great is not recommended. Diving and jumps in water, scuba diving is also not allowed.
